Sometimes your final destination is not the original goal you set out for. Our path to implementing a 9-step development process was one of those instances. What started as wanting to become better problem solvers, resulted in a more defined process and approach to client interactions, enabling us to reach the root cause of problems and pain points. This has expanded into how we manage our development timeline & scheduling, communication with clients, setting expectations, involving clients in the testing process, and training for successful deployments. Digging deep into client’s problems and pain points requires time, so how can you take that time without hurting the bottom line? Often, the value is in refining and defining their processes, and leveraging the technology appropriately.
